How long does the construction process take?

  • Generally, it will take anywhere from 3-6 months to build a Soundbuilt new home once the home has started construction. However, this estimate may fluctuate. In addition, each jurisdiction’s permitting process varies and it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to several months to obtain a building permit depending on the community requirements.

Can I choose options and personalize my home?

  • Often the timing of your new home purchase happens early enough to allow you the option of personalizing your finishes or even making option choices to structural areas within the house.
  • The process of personalizing your newly-constructed home begins as soon as you have secured loan approval, and at this time, you will be contacted directly by a design center expert who will schedule an appointment to visit our Design Center.
  • At your Design Center meeting, the selection process and your finish options will be presented, and you will have an opportunity to choose many of those features you want for your newly constructed home.

Can Soundbuilt Homes help me secure a loan?

Is it necessary to have a 10% down payment on my new construction home?

  • Depending on the type of loan you are securing, if a down payment is necessary, it can often be as little as 3-5%. All VA buyers all eligible to pursue special zero-down mortgage loan programs!

What if I currently have a home to sell?
